Most Singaporean teenagers think of swimming as a way to slim down or keep fit. Whereas in RGSs’ swimming team, they aim towards a common goal of doing the school proud and upholding their name ---RAFFLES. As most of us know, raffles swimming team was double champions for the recent inter school swimming championships. The B division won with 178 points in total with three golds, six slivers, three bronzes and six fourth positions. They won Singapore sports school by 44 points. The C division also came in champion with six golds, four slivers, five bronzes and two fourth positions and a total of 143 points. Among the many events, from the C division, and also the one and only record breaker, we have goh wan ting from class 108 who broke the 200 Meters Individual Medley with a time of 2.28.75. And among the three records being set in the B division, one records was set by raffles’ relay teamI n the 4 by 50meters free style relay with a time of 1.52.75. Within the many superb swimmers of the raffles’ swimming team, there were two swimmers Who went to Montréal for the 11th FINA world championships, Montreal (CAN) from 17- 30 July 2005. Both we rookies and thought going to Montreal was a learning experience whether or not they do well. Many other swimmers such as Jeffery su, Ernest teo,
Lynnette ng,Bernadette lee, Lionel lee, Marcus cheah also qualified.

sighs...got tired of bloggin for a well till i decided i have to blog if not i'll go CRAZY!!!!
